I need help picking up parts for a PC. This PC will be mainly used for gaming. In this case, World of WarCraft, which I would like to play maxed out. I JUST need the Tower. I don't need an OS, monitors, keyboards, mouse, speakers etc. I also won't be needing a DVD Drive. And I won't be needing an extra traditional HDD, as a 250 GB SSD will be enough since I have plenty of space on my external HDDs for music and videos.

Here is the build I was looking to do:

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/CdpzWZ

Unfortunately, few of the parts are out of stock (the GPU, PSU, MOBO)...

The only thing I am positive about is the Case, CPU, GPU, and SSD. I don't know which Motherboard, RAM, or PSU I should get.

- The EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2GB is out of stock, so I was thinking about getting this MSI version instead:
http://

- The PSU is out of stock on NewEgg and Amazon, and I am not sure what to replace it with.

- For the Motherboard I chose this b/c it was included in the build-list that I edited. It's out of stock on NewEgg, but I can order from SuperBizz for a good price.

- As far as the RAM, it changes every minute on that site since it's parametric.

- I was also thinking about replacing this case, with this windowed version:

Solution
Both of those cards will outpace Nvidia's cards in the same price range , I'm afraid.

The cards won't fit in the 200r without removing drive bays , I've had this problem when building a PC for my brother.

Here's another alternative under 900 bucks :

PCPartPicker part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/4qXM6h
Price breakdown by merchant: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/4qXM6h/by_merchant/

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($209.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: Asus Z97-A ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($139.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($59.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Crucial M500 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($80.98 @ Newegg)
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 290 4GB Tri-X Video Card...
Can't go wrong with this build , miles better than what you originally had ( Mobo was fine but Asus's better ) :

Shoot. That GPU is out of stock atm and other retailers are selling it for significantly more.

What do you think of using this card instead: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127745&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

I really like that build better. I think I am going to go with that one. However, I hate to be so picky on the case, but do you think I can ditch the Rosewill case and go with the Corsair 300R ATX Mid Tower Case you linked in the first list?

I find the Rosewill case a little ugly.

I got everything except for the GPU so far. I'm just not sure which one to go with now.

Here's how the PC is looking so far (except for the GPU):

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/pnxTNG

1) I was thinking about waiting for this one to get in stock because it is a good price: XFX Radeon R9 290 4GB Double Dissipation Video Card

2) Or just going ahead and buy this one: Sapphire Radeon R9 290 4GB Tri-X Video Card (which would be about 30-40 dollars more than the XFX)

Either way, I will have to get close to 1000, which I don't mind at this point. Some things went up a few dollars b/c of tax and just price increases. And I had to buy the windowed version of the case. :)

btw, d you think I should be concerned since neither of these cards have DX12?

EDIT: If it helps, I only use one 24' ASUS Monitor with it's max resolutoin of 1920*1080 at 60 hz. atm, I don't do any 4k stuff with those high refresh rates.

If you're willing to pay 350 bucks for a GPU then grab the 970 from Nvidia other than this you should grab the R9 290 Tri-X which I have ( great card and very cool looking ).

You shouldn't worry about DX12 support as I believe AMD will activate DX12 on those cards :)

Hey buddy, thanks for help. However, I decided to go back to the EVGA SuperClocked GTX 760 b/c it just came back in stock and it was a good price for me (175 after rebate). And for World of WarCraft, everybody on the reviews were saying it runs it on ultra with 60 FPS. And that's pretty much the only video game I am playing at the moment. If I were to play more demanding games and used a better monitor, I probably would have gone with one of those AMD cards.

I also switched out the Antec PSU with a Corsair one b/c the Corsair one game back in stock with a $20 rebate.

So this whole setup keeps me under 900.

This is the exact build:

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/dJJB4D

EDIT: Do you know how I can run a compatibility check to make sure everything will work together?

Shoot. Thanks for letting me know. It's too late to cancel now. But I will keep this in mind if/when I do overclocking or w/e else that uses more power.

I opted for the Corsair one because it looks like it's a common PSU for similar systems, and it was cheaper on Newegg with the rebate, whereas the Antec on Amazon was more expensive with no rebate

This is great build to at least work around.

It was unfortunate that I had to take a step back on the Video Card and PSU, but I couldn't fork that much money atm. But it's nice to know that I can most likely update the GPU and PSU in the future if I need an update.

Thanks again TopLuca.
