I have an EVGA GTX 780 3GB SC with ACX cooler for about 2 and a half months now, and I have began to notice that maybe my AMD FX 6300 overclocked to 4.5 Ghz might be bottlenecking my gtx 780 when playing games at 1080p on a 60hz monitor. I have done some research on this subject and it seems that most people say that it won't bottle neck it and there are others saying that it will. I had an ASUS GTX 650 Ti 1GB before and it was great but I wanted to play games on higher settings like Watch Dogs, Goat Simulator, far cry 3, assassins creed unity, and bioshock infinite.
I bring up this bottle necking because I wonder myself if I am being bottlenecked. I really want to know if it might be because if it is should i overclock a bit more or should I get a more powerful amd cpu like a FX 8350 or would i be getting the near same performance.
