Hello.
I've spent the past few hours attempting to connect my new Windows 8.1 laptop to my iMac's Airport signal without any success.
I was able to do this very thing using Windows 7 on an old laptop. From what I've been reading, it seems that the ability to connect to networks secured with "WEP-Shared" type security has been removed in Windows 8 because of the fact that it was outdated and insecure. It's great that Microsoft is trying to force individuals to be secure, but unfortunately the iMac's airport utility does not offer any alternatives.
Does anyone know of a way around this?
