Having trouble finding compatible cards: video card question

The card I'm running with my set-up is a MSI Radeon HD6850 Cyclone edition, linked below:

http://www.msi.com/product/vga/R6850_Cyclone_1GD5_Power_EditionOC.html#hero-overview

I've been looking for another card from the 6800 series to crossfire them, because as I understand I can get the performance of a card with their combined value, or a little less, for only the price of getting another 6800 series card.

So I guess my questions are as follows:

Is that true that the crossfire performance will be what I expect?

Why is the 6800 series so hard to find off anywhere but eBay or sketchy random sites?

Should I just fork the money out for a more current card, from the R9 series or whatever they're running now?

And, if its worth trying to find another 6800 series card, any links to good places to start, preferably under $150? Need Xfire compatbility.

Lastly, I found a card that said it didn't come with a xfire bridge. Does that mean it's xfire incompatible, or just that it doesn't have the connector?

You guys are awesome! Thanks!

Solution
First your motherboard needs to be XFire compatible and not just say it is actually be able to run the cards @ 8X8 speed.
For the performance in most games it will be a lot better in some no real difference, and you will still only have 1GB of Vram. It all depends on how Xfire scales in the game.
Your power supply has to be good enough to power 2 cards this will also increase the amount of heat the case has to be able to cool.
The Bridge does not come will all cards so that means nothing.
The cards are no longer made that's why their harder to find.
With the card you have only having the 1gb I would be looking to sell it and buying a single better card.
