Hey everybody!

I just ordered all the parts for my 1st ever gaming PC! :) I'm completely new to building a PC, and wanted to get input on what people think about it. I'm primarily going to be using it for BF4, the upcoming Mount and Blade: Bannerlord, some flight sims and some grand strategy games like the Hearts of Iron series. I bought all the parts on Black Friday and ended up getting everything for around $1750!

Here are my specs, what do you think? Does everything look compatible? Have I made any mistakes in my purchases that would make the machine not function properly? Do I get a "stamp of approval" from you? Also, since BF4 is going to be what I play 80% of the time, do you think I'll need to do some overclocking? (I hope not, because I have zero experience in this!)

From what I've read, there is very little difference between the 5820k and 4790k in terms of gaming performance and SLI is more stable then Crossfire.
I'd pick the 4790k with GTX 970 SLI so you've got more budget to focus on other things and the SLI config will take care of all games on max settings easily.

Something like the build below will do nicely:

Wow! I like it! But as you mentioned, I don't have a case, monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, or even a windows 8 OS...so I needed to fit all of that into the budget and still come out with a strong gaming PC. Thanks for your input!
