Havn't built a PC since before college (built a few before liquid cooling), i am 31 now but still have some knowledge and ability to learn.

For the reason of Liquid cooling on cpu i am a little worried about building. I currently have a Alienware that my wife got me that is actually holding up but i feel the end coming and want to be ready.

Wondering if one of you amazing guys could help me put a pcpartpicker list for a full machine and possibly some info on liq cooling. PC will be for gaming and would like to keep it around 1000.

Attempting to get a gtx 970 in this but don't know if this is possible. The cpu and motherboard and other combos that may be buggy is what i don't know about so if anyone could help i would appreciate it.

Just a few questions would you go liquid cooling on this? If so which unit, also any need to go more then 8gb ram? I will be using this pc for gaming and other things media related.

If you want to and feel confident in water cooling you could, however, its not needed for what you want to do, unless you want to overclock or decrease stock temps. They aren't very high in my build. Ambient temperature does matter though. If you live in a hot region, you might want to consider it. 8 gigs of RAM is good for what you want to do. Unless you are video editing or major streaming.

As per temps: I am burbs of Philadelphia, and this will be going in the computer room aka finished basement with AC. I do not feel comfortable installing liquid cooling, far from confident.

Anything else i will need? I have accessories covered. Like cables, case fans, mounting kits for the mb ect? The last time i did this nothing was easy, there was no sites like that one. And obviously i have the option to get liquid cooling if i want to in the future? As per the video card i am reading that alot prefer the msi over what you have selected your thoughts?

Add water cooling later on if you want to. Now for the GPU, I would just go with EVGA. They have nice cards. However, you couldn't go wrong with ASUS or MSI. EVGA is near perfect and other brands may have one or two flukes but don't let that worry you. Go with one you prefer. Again, I prefer EVGA or ASUS. Just read reviews and pick one that will go best with your build.

For SLI you might want to consider a higher watt Power Supply. Yes, the board supports SLI capabilities.

Oh my apologizes! I almost forgot. The front panel connectors are in the case automatically. If you could, expound on internal cables? The power supply comes with the cords to power the motherboard.

Everything will be included. The Drive cables will be with your motherboard. You can add case fans as well.
