Hey all! I'm helping my friend build a computer but I need some suggestions. He wants a computer for gaming and beginning recording/editing. He plans to play League and record/edit some of his gameplay but nothing intensive. I bet I could drop the GPU and go with an APU or with an Intel integrated graphics but I'm trying to open him up to more games so the GPU stays.

Just a few questions I had:

    1. Should I get an AMD or Intel card? Not sure if games are using more cores nowadays but I'm thinking the extra cores will help with his editing/recording.

    2. Is the ASUS motherboard bad? It's pretty cheap in price but I think that might reflect its build quality.

    3. Not sure where I gathered this information, but I read that Corsair's CX PSU series isn't the greatest. Should I buy something instead?

OK I'll just bump up to Mid-ATX. What are some good boards without breaking the budget?
