Solution
About the 780ti you bought of your friend, I am not exactly sure. It should be working well with that configuration.

I would advise on upgrading to 16GB RAM, as in the current age of technology, games eat up a lot of RAM...
Getting 16 GB will help a lot and besides, many gamers nowadays upgrade to 16 GB anyway.

But if you want to stick with 8 GB RAM< then fine, no problem mate. I think it will work :D

According to me , you will do great with both.. Just don't expect 60 FPS constant, will dip down to the 40's sometimes..

If I am wrong anywhere do correct me guys..

Why don't you list down your complete specs man, make it easier so I can be more sure of my final answers., Help us help you :D

The issue im having is that im not getting a smooth 60fps on ryse son of Rome or on a few of my other games when my buddy was geting 70-90fps and we basicly have the same rig he just has an ASUS MAXIMUS Mobo and 16GB of corsair dominator's. do you know what could be causing this issue

I apologies for the late reply.

I found the issue with my card i needed to run windows update and after that it worked fine. ill have to buy 2x8gb because my h220 overlaps one DIMM slot can i use a different pump from another closed loop or will it have to be a specific Brand i have a spare h100i laying around if i can swap pumps and save a few bucks and buy 2 more 4gb DIMM's.
