I currently have a pretty decent GTX 660 since year and while I don't play a lot of FPS I wanted to future proof my rig with a good videocard upgrade.
I have been holding off for a possible GTX 960 but seems like that wont be an option till April at the earliest, so I have option of either waiting for a yet unannounced videocard or go for sub $200 option like the GTX 760 or Radeon R9 270 for a nice (if small) upgrade now.
I am partial to Nvidia but right now I am looking for the best option regardless of brand or price....so any suggestions will be more than welcome

The GTX 760 is quite a bump up in performance over a 270. You'll also get all the Nvidia extras to play around with (DSR, Adaptive VSync, PhysX, HBAO+, FXAA, MFAA, TXAA, etc.), in addition to Nvidia driver support.
