Hi guys, I need some help, I'm going to sli my 2 gtx 670s and I have a gs700 power supply. I wanted to see if you guys thought that the gs700 would be a big enough power supply.
System components:
P8 z77-v LK motherboard
I5-3570k LGA1155 quad core processor
3x120mm led fans 4x80mm non led fans
2x8gb SDDR3 ram
2x1tb hard drives
1 CD-ROM
1 sata hard disk drive
I'm pretty desperate here, and can use any help possible, I used a power supply calculator for this, but it contradicted what a lot of other people had said about this problem of mine.
Thank you

It will work, although the pci power connectors it has is not enough. You'll need to use molex to pci adapters.
You're running a little close though.

In my opinion I would not SLI them, sell your current card and buy a single more powerful gpu. Although 2 670's would be very good and beat most single cards.

Whether your psu can handle it depends on the 12v rail, the GS700 has 56AMPS. If what I read was true of a 170w tdp on the gtx 970, you should be good to go.

-good luck

Thank you for your input anonymouslite5, I really appreciate you taking the time to answer.
The gs700 does come with 2x6+2 pin PCI connectors, so I would be covered there.
What I don't get is the whole 12v rail thing.
Once again, thank you for your answer

Ah, thought your 670's needed one 6 pin and one 8 pin.

The 12v rail is a part of the psu that is responsible for pushing wattage to your gpu's and cpu.
Your psu looks good and I'm quite fond of the Gaming series (I use a GS600 for my system)

You should be able to run the 670's just find ;)
