Any suggestions? I am on a tight $1100 budget inclusive of every type of component you see here: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/gYsjLk

CPU: Intel i5-4690K http://pcpartpicker.com/part/intel-cpu-bx80646i54690k
Mobo: Asus Z97-AR http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-z97ar
Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-cpu-cooler-rr212e20pkr2
GPU (either one) : Sapphire Tri-X R9 290 http://pcpartpicker.com/part/sapphire-video-card-1003622sr OR Club 3D RoyalAce R9 290 http://pcpartpicker.com/part/club-3d-video-card-cgaxr9298so
PSU: EVGA 500W 80+ Bronze http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-100b10500kr
Case: Corsair Carbide SPEC-02 http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-case-cc9011051ww

Be mindful that I have already purchased most of the components. The only ones yet to purchase is the memory, gpu, psu, and the optional case fan.

Thanks.

Ok a few things - firstly if you're building this for gaming, getting a K-series (ie overclockable) CPU may not be the most cost effective solution - remember its the GPU that makes the most difference in most games, and the rest of the system is really just there to support that.

If you do wanna really go for a top overclock, you will need a more capable CPU cooler - the Cooler Master is great for the money, but one of the big Noctuas or a closed loop liquid cooler like the H100i will be a safer bet with that chip, that can generate a lot of heat, depending on how good an example you have the fortune/misfortune to get of course.

PSU - I would go for something with more headroom - at least a 600W if you plan to overclock. Even if...

Updated to a more compatible RAM. In your opinion, what do you think of the rest of the components? Mainly I have concerns for the power supply and either of the graphics cards in my description (only using one of them for the build)

Finally I would leave buying extra case fans until you have your case and built, installed and running, because then you will really know what it looks like to make an informed decision on what fans to buy from an appearance pov

As for the peripherals, I'm not really a gamer so I can't advise too much, however this:

... is a great low-cost mouse I can vouch for
