After installing my graphics card, whenever I clicked shut down from the Windows Menu it would shut the monitor off and then the PC would remain on with all the lights and fans still runiing? The only way to switch it off would be to hold the power button down for 5+ seconds?
When installing my GPU was there any setting i needed to change in the BIOS?
There are some times when im on the computer and it shuts down correclty, meaning it turns the monitor off and the PC.
I have updated all the drivers on the GPU , selected and deselected the fast boot option in power management - Unchecking the box makes my PC restart constantly. Checking it- is the best option.
I never had this problem with my internal grpahics connected via HDMI?
But as soon as i switched to the new gpu using mini display i cannot gurantee a 100% rate that the PC will switch off alognside the monitor?
I am using a 1000W Corsair PSU also
Any ideas on why this is happening? Is there anything I can do to solve it?
