As stated above I can not re-install windows 7 to any of my 4 hard disc drives .I have installed windows 7 many times before without encountering this problem.
I get to the point in the windows 7 set up process where you are given the option to choose which drive to install on but the computer will not allow me to install on any of my drives. I have tried physically swapping the SATA cables around (ie - moving the cable from whichever HDD from say SATA connection point 1 on my Motherboard to SATA connection 2 etcetera and every other combination) but to no avail.
What has resulted sometimes after doing this is that the P.C. does allow me to choose a HDD but when I click on the next tab I am promptly told that no partition is available or words to that effect .I have formatted all of the partitions and HDD's but still I have had no joy.
I am almost certain this problem has been covered here in this forum but I could not find a satisfactory answer to my specific problem. If the specifications of my motherboard are relevant then here it is, Gigabyte Z77-D3H.

Could you try manually creating the partitions? boot install media >>> shift + f10 opens command prompt. type in diskpart > list disk >>>>> select disk x (x your drive) >>>>>
then type Clean #note!! this will clean partitioning table >>>> create partition primary align=1024 >>>> format quick fs=ntfs >>>> assign >>> active >> exit >> exit >> now you should be able to continue installing.

You might want to create boot-able USB stick and download ISO image here ; http://www.techverse.net/download-windows-7-iso-x86-x64-microsofts-official-servers/
