Will a 144hz monitor work with a 60hz monitor and dual 6950's?

Hello everyone! I was looking into a 144hz monitor. I have read somewhere that some GPUs do not do 144hz and 60hz at the same.

I was going to run the 144hz monitor as my main directly in front of me. Then have to 2 existing monitors at 60hz on the right and left.

I an running 2 6950's 2gb in crossfire.

Will this work?

You can run all monitors separately at their native frequency by extending the Windows desktop; however, the moment that you put them into eyefinity or surround, they will all operate at the lowest common factor (in this case 60hz).'

If the monitors are only extended then yes you can run the game full screen on that one monitor at 144hz (provided it is the 144hz monitor of course).

Thank you so much. I plan to play CS:GO on just the main monitor.

I might play some other games in eyefinity that do not take advantage of the 144hz as much as FPS games.

Once again, thank you!!
