i have an LG monitor22EA53 with a d-sub and DVI-D input. i can't find a way to connect my xbox to it also i don't have speakers
What is the easiest way?

Solution
You take the Red and While and that is your sound. You would probably have to get an adapter to plug it into any kind of speakers or head phones. VGA and DVI do NOT Do sound. Only HDMI and thats if the monitor even had speakers.

buy a DVI to HDMI cable. they arent expensive

also for sound you'll need to buy an xbox sound unit thingy (cant remember the name), it plugs into the AV component bit, and has a red/white rca sockets, so can be used for turtle beach etc, and some speakers

Yea get the actual XBox VGA Adapter cable as the video above shows. you can just get a RCA to Head phone jack adapter for headphones or plug it into a stereo or something else. Plus you can do any resloution (Use to use it on my 24 Inch dell 1920x1200) until i got the Slim which has HDMI.

No. Thats to go from VGA to RCA not RCA To VGA. I've tried going from VGA to RCA Using the Xbox RCA Cables. Didn't work for me.

Get a XBox VGA Adapter. If you can't find them let me know. I have a spare one laying around I can sell to you for cheap.

1) You will NO GET ANY SOUND THOUGH THAT. VGA DOES NOT DO SOUND!

2) Like i just said I HAVE TRIED going from a VGA to a RCA Connection on the Xbox. Didn't work.

3) Because it is RCA connection you will ONLY get 480p Resloution. You will NOT get anything higher than that.

So its up to you.
