ddr3 ram upgrade

I'm going to update my laptop to 8GB ram
Its currently 3gb DDR3 1333mhz CL7
my laptop motherboard only supports 1333mhz ram

so what I want to know is;
Would there be any big difference between CL7 and CL9? (I know what clock latency is but would there be any difference in actual gaming performance)
Is Samsung a good manufacture of ram?

you must place the same ram so to avoid conflictes and maybe ur laptop not opening

if anything, you might need to setup the speeds in the BIOS of the slowest stick... but that's it, I don't think you will notice any difference, you will benefit more form the capacity increase.

I thought you were going to use the new sticks combined with the old ones. Definitely buying identical sticks saves you from tricky timing issues.

its only a laptop with 2 slots, so I would have to go with 2x4gb.
