Good evening People
In the past when I first built my pc (over a year ago now) the ASUS UEFI bios worked fine. However recently I needed to change a few settings so went into the bios and found only the clock and a single pixel behind the mouse icon was visible. Everything else was black. So after giving it some thought I hit the reset switch and crossed my fingers hoping that it would sort itself out. Oh how wrong I was. Unfortunately the same thing happened. This time I moved my mouse around and vola the started to draw pixels of what should be there (see screen shots). I was a bit shocked at first and noticed only the clock updates. Not only this but the screen resolution had changed too. So I thought to my self lets go into the advanced settings and see what happens. (Once again see screenshots). Even the advanced settings were totally messed up. So I left the bios and checked for new driver updates to my motherboard and graphics card etc. installed them and then went back into the bios the same thing happened. So I thought to myself could it be the graphics card. So I took it out (this took a while as I put it in soo nicely >.<) and connected my monitor directly to the MOBO. I went into the bios and found it was back to normal (or how it should be). Just to be clear when it was working initially the graphics card was installed. When I put my graphics card back in it stopped working properly again. So at this point I’m at a loss as I need my graphics card and access to the BIOS. So oh wise and powerful forum members please spare some of your knowledge and help solve this problem. Thanks in advanced

Here is my pc specs

Another issue I have noted is that the RAM is clocked at 668MHz it’s a pair of 1600MHz sticks so im not sure why they are clocked soo low.

Not sure why SSDs are only 5.9 but meh I guess lol

So yeah that's what is basically wrong really have no idea what to do.
if you need more info just ask (you might need to tell me what to do if its a little hidden away or complex)
Thanks again

notes:
the GPU works fine in windows etc post boot only in bios its messed up
BIOS used to work fine in the past with the GPU installed
BIOS works fine with GPU removed (running off the internal graphics)

Solution
Hi everyone, I know this is an old thread but after installing two AMD RX 570 on different computers and experience the exact same problem I think I must explain some things about it.
At this moment I found where is exactly the problem and is not related with card issues or compatibility with the system. It's all about the compatibility between graphics card and the screen EDID. Thats all. I tried connecting an old TFT screen through DVI instead the FullHD TV I usually use and the UEFI BIOS works perfectly.

Hope this helps someone and thanks for the community for the great support that it brings.

Cheers!
