Hello, I just had a quick question about some precautions to take while building my PC. I was just reading intel's manuel and they made it seem extremely important to purchase anti-esd equipment and that the cpu needs to be professionally installed...so I was wondering if the weather would effect this and allow me to normally build this without having some anti-esd suit on :l
Atm in Califorina, San Jose this is our humidity: http://gyazo.com/6f3edf615f1df37db1b5ba6d1473f5a9
Will this be enough "safe guard" to build my PC this week or the next? I literally am trying as hard as possible to build up static so I can shock myself (to test), but it doesn't seem to be working. While I know it only takes around 20 volts to fry certain things, I don't know whether I can build that much up. Idk, I just really don't know much about this and only reason I care is that I don't want this to be a pain in the ass trying to RMA anything. Especially with UPS -.-
Thanks!
