Hi @all

first thanks for your help guys.

i am having 5 pcs and three laptops. the 5 pcs are setup with a static ip and through lan cable. The three laptops are connected to my wifi which has static ip, as well the other three laptops. all three laptops have internet but i do need to connecto with the three laptop of one of my 5 pcs and that wont work.

if i try to ping the ip of one of the three laptops i wont reach them - time out. but they do have internet only internal it doesnt work. i believe it has something to do with the wifi access point. but which setting could it be or what is wrong on it?

I am so thankful for your help guys.

You should be able to connect the phone/laptop just fine to whatever wifi you configured on the access point.

The access point has a static IP so the router does not assign it one. Since DHCP is disabled on the access point (one of the 2 main things that makes it an access point) then the primary router provides the addresses so when your mobile device connects to the A.P. the primary router will give it an IP address.

If you are saying the mobile device itself has a static IP address then it will work fine as long as that static IP is using the same subnet of the primary router. So if router IP is 192.168.10.1, A.P. is 192.168.10.2 and the mobile device is 192.168.10.(any number not in use) then it will work fine.
