pc turns off when put to sleep

every time my pc goes to sleep(either after 30 minutes or i do it manually) then what happens is that the screen goes black, the pc is still running (fans,leds still on) and it just stays stuck like that for a couple of minutes then it shuts down after a while, its very frustrating because now my pc turns off all the time and i just need it to sleep
does anyone know the problem?

It's recommended to disable sleep and hibernate in power options with a SSD boot drive. First, some SSDs have freezes or bluescreens. Second, it causes unnecessary file writes onto the SSD shortening it's lifespan. Google "SSD sleep" you'll see pages of problems.

thank you, now that i know this i dont think i will want to put to sleep, but its strange that this problem started happening all of a sudden

Not so strange. SSD performances change and degrade over their theoretically limited lifetime. Just a fact of flash based storage. Nothing to worry about I would think. Just keep an eye out for a while for any other symptoms.
