I reinstalled Windows 7 a while back, and since about that time, whenever I plug in a USB device that should be plug and play (headphones, mouse, iphone, etc) it comes up as USB device is not recognized.
I thought maybe something was wrong with the actual motherboard as it was about 5 years old, so I upgraded to a Biostar TA970, but am still having the same issue.
This leads me to believe its a windows settings issue that I have been unsuccessful in correcting.
I've tried reinstalling the drivers from the biostar website for this specific mobo.
I've tried uninstalling all the USB hubs and rebooting.
I've ensured about 5000 times that everything is installed and connected correctly component wise.
Any other ideas?
Thanks!
