Hello everyone, i am having some serious problems with the above ssd. i got two computers with total different set up with only common the ssd evo 840 and the problems he causes. the desktop computer is 12GB RAM, geForce gtx 660, some dvd, old soundblaster, intel i7 core, and gigabyte GA-EX58-UDR mother board with windows 7 ultimate. the laptop is a Toshiba satelite l750 i5 core with windows 7 home prenium.
the problem every time starts with some unexplained freezing every few minutes. usually the computer unfreezes after a while. during the freeze i can move the mouse but the HDD led is lid continuously and all the application got freezed. i checked the events log and when this happens usually the event log says:
smtn about the kernel-power some times
an error in disk0.
and in only in the desktop computer, "Registry hive file(\??\C:\Users\...Windows\UsrClass.dat was corrupted and it has been recovered, some data might have been lost"
This case can go for weeks and randomly change its frequency or even be fixed for some months.but all the times it ends one day with windows not being able to load. even in safe mode where it stops loading in classpnp.sys(which means new format again) i have tried everything(firmware updates, bios updates, different configurations etc. but everytime in the end this happens. i am desperate guys, i cannot format my computer every 3 months. both instalatons are clean instalations not disk migrations.
