I got a Corsair Builer Series CX 600 and a Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3.

The 20-Pin Main Power cable was not going all the way into the motherboard. What is the problem, the MOBO or the PSU?

  1. It's a common flaw with the CX series clips , you need to RMA it , or get a different PSU.

    100% the PSU clip.

I have seen this issue at least a dozen times on the forum.
  2. What does RMA mean? I returned it to Amazon for a new one, is that fine? or should I change it? if so, which one do you recommend?
  3. Yes return it.

    I would get a XFX 550w.
  4. Okay thank you!

    I got a Micro ATX Gigabyte MOBO, a 1x8 RAM, a R9 290X, will 550w be suffecient?
  5. For a 290X get a 650W XFX.
  6. Do you think you could give me a cheaper option? I am trying to keep it around the same price ($40-$60)
