Completely uninstalling AMD drivers.

So i change from AMD to nvidia. And i wonder how should i proceed with the drivers removal. I know that i should uninstall them before putting the gtx970. So in windows programm removal it has 2 programms only. AMD catalyst install manager and Applications profiles. Should i just remove those 2 or do i need to do something more?

When you uninstall the catalyst suite it should give you an option to uninstall all AMD software.

Try this, it will work.
First of all you need to TOTALLY remove all the old drivers. Use this link.
http://www.wagnardmobile.com/DDU/
Note:
Select the respective company(i.e Nvidia or ATI) drivers to be uninstalled.
Use clean and restart option.
And then install the new drivers after rebooting.

A lot of people are suggesting DDU too. I cant decide whats better xD

Mostly when using AMD Catalyst Suite to uninstall the drivers some remnants in the registry are left out. Use DDU as I have suggested. I have experienced this when the AMD Catalyst Suite showed 12.6 drivers and MSI Afterburner showed the 14.4 drivers I had tried before that, then I used DDU and only then it was proper.

Let me explain. Right now i have the AMD drivers with the HD 5770 GPU. I am going to uninstall the drives with the DDU, then shut down my PC and change the card to a GTX 970. Then i will install the new nvidia drivers. I am a bit confused on what exactly you are asking.

That is what I did. I pulled my 295x2 and installed drivers for the 970 sli with no issues at all.

If you don't have an integrated GPU the display will be bad. So I am asking whether you can download the latest Nvidia drivers now itself with the AMD card in and install it when the Nvidia card is in.

Ok i get it. One last question in the info of the DDU the box with the "Remove c:\AMD or c:\nvidia folders" is unchecked. I dont need to remove that?
