I just recently bought a new computer for myself, and I figured while I was at it I would pick up some new speakers.

Now, when I go Control Panel > Hardware n sound > Manage audio devices; I test my speakers and the bar moves as if there is audio. Except no sound. The one thing I noticed though in ''manage audio devices menu'' is that my NVIDIA HDMI Output (0) and NVIDIA HDMI Output (1) arent plugged in. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me :)

Your... hdmi output is the video output. It can also carry sound. It's not, however, what your speakers are plugged into.

Are the speakers powered, and on?

Right click on the speaker icon on the right of your taskbar, select 'Sound', go to the 'Playback' tab, and look at your options. One of them, probably labeled as headphones or back audio, will be what your speakers are plugged into. Select it, and press 'Set Default', and then try playing music.

EDIT: I missed that these were bluetooth speakers. You're in good hands with these guys.

Does your computer have bluetooth? If so you'll need to go through the pairing process between your computer and the speakers, then select the device as default when it appears in your audio settings. IF your computer doesn't have bluetooth - don't fret you'll either need to buy a bluetooth USB adapter OR return the speakers.

Well I feel sheepish now - yes it should allow you to use your 3.5" audio jack using the AUX in port located on the back of one of the speakers. TURNS OUT you're right - these speakers don't require you to have bluetooth at all :) Does it work if you connect a set of headphones/earbuds to your audio jack for testing?

Here's the directions:
Selecting a sound source
Your speaker system lets you listen to either
Bluetooth (wireless) or AUX IN (wired) sound
sources. The speaker is in Bluetooth mode unless an
audio cable is connected the the AUX IN jack. The
blue LED will blink quickly when pairing and will
remain on when connected in Bluetooth mode.
If you connect a device to the AUX IN jack, the
speaker system will switch to AUX IN mode. The
blue LED will immediately change to green.
