I am building my first gaming computer and do not want to order something wrong and have it not be compatible so with the AMD 8 core FX-8350 black edition work with the ASRock 970 EXTREME3 AMD 970 & SB950 ATX DDR3 800 AMD - AM3+ Motherboard?? Please help! Ordering components soon.

It works with all AM3+ mobos that is the point of the socket labeling

Yes however if you upgrade to a higher TDP (total draw power) cpu you will be limited to the types of motherbords the FX 8350 is only 125 Watts almost all the AM3+ boards can handle it!
