Internal Hard Drive beeping/squeaking noise, light constantly on

Just woke up and came to switch on my computer, and when I did, my hard drive started beeping every few seconds. It wasn't an equal time between each beep. The hard drive status light is also constantly on, but slightly dims for a few milliseconds every now and then. The drive is not recognized in the BIOS at all, and I can't run SeaTools as my optical drive doesn't work either (thats not to discuss here, I think it's dying). My hard drive was working perfectly last night, I shut my computer down as normal and went to bed. I've done a bit of reading and found it could be dead, or a power problem. My PSU is horrible, so it might just be that but I'm not sure and I don't particularly want to take the drive out and put it in my brother's computer just yet. I have unreleased music, one remix which I need to get out on the 13th. I triple boot windows 7 with windows 8 and Ubuntu, but rarely use Ubuntu. I was on Windows 7 last night, doing a little video editing, then played a bit of Minecraft I think, while having tweetdeck open in Firefox. I didn't watch it shut down, but I know I clicked shut down properly, as I always do.

The specs are:
Seagate Barracuda 2TB (the one with the fault)
ASRock ALiveNF6G-VSTA Motherboard
Athlon 64 X2 4600+
Unbranded 280w PSU
Windows 7 (32) &
Windows 8 (64) &
Ubuntu (64)

Solution
Great!!.... Should be a PSU issue in that case (since its a 280W unbranded one)... Try getting a corsair vs450... Its very cheap and reliable...
I always try to keep a backup of important data in the cloud... I use Google drive in my computer and box in my mobile for the same... This way the data is safe...

Bought it around April last year I think. Its still under warranty but I dont want to send it back because I need the data, of which there is about 700GB.

Edit:
IT WORKS IN MY BROTHER'S COMPUTER (without noises), so I'll try it again in mine in a different port.

I will definitely need a new PSU as soon as possible, but it seems to be working fine after reconnecting it to a different port. Thanks for your help anyway! :)
