Hi guys, long time lurker first time poster.

So here's the deal currently I am station in South Korea- I am currently using a PC running:

FX-8350 @ 4.4 Ghz
16 Ghz Ram @ 1600
2 x R9280X
Corsair HX 1050 PSU

I've decided to build a new PC and use my current one for streaming and other things- I've ordered:

i7-4790K
16 Ghx Ram @ 1600
MSI GTX 970
Corsair HX 750 PSU

Here in Korea they use 220 Volt power but the landlords here customarily wire one of your breakers to a 220-110v step down converter that is routed to outlets throughout your place. Thats what I use. The breakers in my place are rated to 20 Amps with the main rated for 30 Amps.

My question is: can my place run two fairly power hungry desktops off of the one 20 Amp breaker? Should I ask my landlord for another stepdown converter? Is that even attainable with two breakers on stepdown converters.

The internet here in Korea is pretty epic and the power is pretty cheap per KwH so I'd really like to maximize my time (and justify this ridiculous purchase).

Thanks a bunch. ]

Jack.

Solution
Most good PSUs will run just fine off either voltage. My advice would be to see if you can get some outlets set up with 220V plugs - step-down transformers are moderately inefficient, and you might trip the breakers a fair bit.
