Hey guys, I posted on here bout month or so ago about upgrading my PC, unfortunately I couldn't due to money troubles but have a bit left over. I really want to upgrade my whole system but what I'm finding difficult is what order to buy these in... for example here's my build

MB: Corsair IV Formula
CPU: Phenom II 1090t
MEM: 8GB Komputerbay DDR3 1333 <- Have a suspicion these are buggy and get weird timings
GPU: XFX r9 290 Black Edition
HD1: Samsung 840 EVO 250gb (OS, Games, VM's)
HD2: 500gb Western Digital caviar blue
HD?: few other projects drives etc

What I'm thinking is before Christmas I have around £200 to spare, then more after Christmas...

What Id really like to do is buy a FX 8350, and a new ROG Corsair V Formula-Z, but there like £160 each at the moment (hoping they come down in January sales), so I thought id get new memory and SSD?

I'm thinking Corsair Vengeance 8gb 1866mhz (~£70) and new Samsung 800 series for OS and use my current 840 for games VM's maybe?

What yous think? or rather what what would yous do? I like to know what people think in the community before i make my mind up about purchases as yous know more about what's going on than I do

thanks

Bare in mind the Samsung Magician software will only accelerate one drive at a time, so even if you add a Samsung 800 series, it will still only accelerate the 840 Evo....

An additional SSD is always nice, but if you're gonna upgrade processor and mobo, I would do that first as the improved chipset will probably give your drive speeds a boost as well

RAM - check the CPU yours suggesting will actaully benefit from 1866MHz RAM

Yeah I know, will probably use the magician software on the OS drive, was thinking maybe just 120-8gb 840 EVO, or the 850 pro? and use the 250gb evo I have for games

can you clarify what you mean about the ram and CPU please? I have the Phenom II 1090t the now, and was thinking of getting the FX 8350
