Are these temps too hot?
Hey guys I'm running dual R9 290 Tri-X GPU's on my PC and I've been paying Call of Duty Advanced warfare and I've noticed my top GPU getting up to 83C and I've just wondered if that's too hot, if so please tell me. :)

Help me upgrading please. :)
Hello I've gotten dual R9 290 Tri-X GPU's in my PC as I said up ^ and I've made a post in the past asking why when I turn CrossfireX on for Call of Duty there isn't any FPS difference and they told me my PSU isn't high enough as it's a 850W so can someone please tell me a good PSU for this PC. Thanks.

i7 4790k. (CPU)
ASRock Fatal1TY. (Motherboard)
Dual Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X. (GPU)

And I think that's all I need to tell you for the parts, thanks so much for reading and helping.

I've thought about water cooling but I can't seem to find a watercool mount to fit dual R9 290 Tri-x's.

AMD states that R9 290x range for temp is 80-95C at a safe temperature. If you want lower temps you can ensure that their is enough thermal paste seated against the heatsink and look into buying an aftermarket cooler. This usually help lower temps for your GPU but no promises. Newegg has a decent aftermarket cooler for R9 290 cards

Hope this helped you.

For your chosen parts on your list; Your chosen mobo has only 2 ram slots. I recommend using two 8GB DDR3 1600 sticks to get 16GB of RAM if you want best performance out of those two slots ( you can go higher if you'd like but you do only need 8GB of ram at 1600, but some people like to go to 16GB like me.) The GPUs are pretty good and the processor is a pretty good choice all in all its a pretty good setup you picked out.

I was thinking of a full watercool system.

A full watercool system would be good for temps and frames, but they can be expensive if you have the money for it I would do it. Before making any big purchases you should look into good watercooling pumps etc, and make sure you know how to properly install them. their are tons of instructional videos on youtube on how to install one. Good luck.

Yes I've been looking on YouTube and I can't seem to find a system that can support dual cards as all of the videos are single cards.

Im not to great at watercooling sorry but i assume that its just buying another part for a single GPU and getting something to serperate it into a dual link, probably explained that poorly but ask the community for some more help on that. Apologies hope I helped some.
