Hello everyone! I've been having a recent problem with Fraps lately. Every other game I record with fraps is fine, except Minecraft. Whenever I record Minecraft with Fraps, at random points in the footage it will drop to from 30-50fps to 0-15fps for a couple seconds, and then go back up. I have tried messing with all fraps settings and nothing! The strange thing is, is that it only happens with Minecraft? Please help, and thank you!

Thank you for responding. I don't think PCSpecs and game settings will help in my case because it just started happening about 2 months ago and nomatter what my Game settings are at I still get lag spikes (Only when recording, and its ONLY minecraft)
But here they are anyways:
2.4GHz
Intel HD Graphics 3000
4GB Ram
Intel Core i5
--
Game settings:
6 chunks, No clouds, vSync Off, Fast graphics
It has to be a problem with Fraps and Minecraft because it only happens in Minecraft? Doesnt happen in The Sims 4.
Would factory resetting solve the problem?

your igpu isnt really great but it also happens when recording on the same hardrive you are playing the game on
trying turn down chunks down to 1 and go up in by 1 while recording to see the fps you wanna get
