Hello guys.

i just upgraded from a 1440x900 monitor to a 1920x1080p monitor and got a gtx 970.
But Battlefield 3 and 4 have both begun stuttering and crashing which would be nice to get fixed.

My pc specs are:

Intel Pentium g3258 @4.2ghz (cooled by 212 hyper evo) temps never higher than 73 celcius.
8gb kingston 668mhz ram from 2010-12
MSI gtx970
MSI z97-45g gamming 5 Motherboard
cx750 crosair PSU
500gb hdd from 2010.

I Suspect the CPU being the problem and i know it is bottlenecking my GTX 970.
(The Pentium is a temporary solution till i can get intels new 5th gen i5)

Although I'm wondering why t this build runs planetside 2 very nice at 50-60 fps in extremely crowded areas with a lot of explosions and stuff. I've read a lot of places that planetside 2 is very CPU intense so I'm pretty confused :D

AND a bonus question for the ones who know!:

Is there any way for me to run Farcry 4 on the Pentium? :)

Any answer is appreciated, thanks.

My previous card was a EVGA gtx 660 sc.

I started BF4 up and after 30 secs it crashed
Temps on GPU got up to 63c*
CPU temps where about 64-57 C* on core 1
and on core 2 about 10-7 c* lower than core 1.

GPU usage got up to 72%
and CPU got onto 100% on both cores.

I was getting 50-70 fps until the crash.
