Hello everyone,
Haven't been here in a while but i need to ask all of you a question. I want to upgrade my core processor to the Intel Core i5-4690K Processor 3.5 GHz LGA 1150 BX80646I54690K (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KPRWB9G/?tag=bestcpus-20). I have the IPISB-CU (Carmel2) (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c02980014&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en#N85) motherboard in my hp desktop. So my question to all of you is will it be able to fin into my motherboard? And if not, what is the next best gaming core processor that will fit?
Thanks!

Solution
No because the motherboard is 1155 and the 4690k is 1150. Different CPU's. They're not compatible with each other

You would have to change the motherboard. You would have to buy one of the CPU's listed on the HP site you posted

Ok thank you! But what core processor would be worth upgrading to? And if you would not recommend upgrading, please let me know. I have the Intel Core i5-2400 cpu @3.10GHz currently.
