Hello there, I've seen many similar threads, but didn't really find a solution to my problem.
I messed up a big time. I've upgraded my BIOS to 3.20 WITHOUT installing Intel drivers for that version. No idea what to do now, PC keeps boot looping and I can't find any instant flash drivers to downgrade bios.
Specs are:
i5-2500k
goodram 4gb ddr3 1333
msi r 280x
wd caviar blue 500gb
ocz 5502 psu
Is there anything I can possibly do there without throwing my mobo to the trashcan?

Unfortunately, no, it was in ide mode before and it is now. Yes, I can enter bios

It doesn't boot in safe mode either... AsRock support mailed me instant flash version of 2.0 bios, but when I try to flash it it says that image is not detected when it should be, because usb stick is in fat32 already

I was wondering bout this and found tis guy with what I was thinking may of also went wrong as like yours ???

Well, I tried resetting the CMOS. Something went wrong, BOOTMGR stopped working, I troubleshooted it all night online before the conclusion was made that Windows had to be reinstalled. System Restore would not work, and neither would loading the backup image I have created automatically every week, so I don't know what the point of setting a backup was. Didn't work when I needed it.

The BIOS are still 1.50. That never got fixed. It never found the image and I never got the chance to try and update the BIOS.

Resetting CMOS never really did anything, usb stick is seen by bios. They emailed me unzipped P67P32.00 file.
I'm trying liveusb linux right now but no idea if it'll help solving this

don't see why not-- a few builds back I had this go on and it took a clean reinstall of windows -- what I do see is guys that use the bios flash tool that's not the usb stick way [manually] ???? mine did this but not due to flashing never figured out what the deal was on it but a reinstall fixed it [asus] also look this up to find you some info I do see lots of this with the use of a ssd ????
