Bent cpu socket pins

I have 2 little cpu socket pins that are a little bit bent. I tried to fix them the best I could, the computer boots up and runs fine, I played planetside 2 for about an hour or so and ran normally from what I could tell. Will everything be okay? Or is it a ticking time bomb that could mess something up.

Solution
You're solid. If it boots you are good. I did the same thing. Unless you bend a ground pin, you wont even be able to boot if the pin is not connected. Good job bending it back =).
I had the same issue a while back and fixed it the same way you did. I ended up returning the motherboard because vibrations would cause the PC to reboot. Narrowed the issue down to the cpu pins and a new motherboard fixed the issue.

If found out by knocking my computer case.

what did u use to bend it back, i heard using mechanical pencil works but i'm tempted to use pliers and a pin or xacto knife for fixing 2011 pin sockets and a strong lens to see what pins are bent.

most motherboards are now made in china, i had heard word of some makers moving factories out of china to improve quality or they just don't want to share tech or profits with china anymore.

I have heard of mechanical pencils as well but what I used for mine is a really small jewelry sized screwdriver set. I used a small flat head and just pushed it around. I also made it a tad higher than the rest of the pins so the CPU would push that single pin down ensuring contact. Just my solution, maybe not the best.

after u bent the pin/s a bit higher...seat the cpu and lock..then unlock and unseat the cpu...check to make sure u didn't rebend it by having it a tad higher than normal. also if it's a bit longer than it should be and got rebent in this reseating method, i suggest finding some sort of wire cutter that can take off a hair of the length closer to the other pins height - note be careful not to bend or push any of the surrounding undamaged pins around that longer pin, or u will be back to the same problem of bent pins.
