I just built my computer and it runs wonderfully but every once in a while the signal to the monitor will cut out. Occasionally this is accompanied by the fan on my case kicking into overdrive. Nothing seems to wake the monitor and the only way to get it back is to manually restart. I've tried different ports for the hdmi cable but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Don't have another cable to try though. Any ideas about what's going on?
