Hi, about a week ago I bought a EVGA gtx 970. I installed it and got the most recent drivers from NVIDIA GeForce experience. When playing games ill be getting great frames, but they frequently go from 80 to 20 or 30s and then go back up. This happens quite often in games like Shadow of Mordor and far cry 4. It also drops a bit in Wolfenstein but not as much, its playable. It doesn't happen in league of legends at all. So why is this happening? Is it just that the drivers for new cards aren't working well? Or do I have a bad card a need to use my warranty on it? evga gives 3 year warranty so I'm not too worried but this makes games very enjoyable and I need it fixed. Its not heat related as it never goes above 73 C and msn afterburner never shows the clock going below 1380 MHz. One thing I have noticed is that the clock speeds go to 1160 randomly when I'm just browsing the internet and then goes down to 100s against, I haven't been to worried about this as idle temps go up but would this random clock increase and decrease while browsing and stuff be a possible cause? I have a 2600k CPU if that's important. Also, I ran a 3dmark fire storm benchmark test and a got a score of 8903, irk if that's where it should be or not. Any answers are greatly appreciated, this card works great at the points where it isn't stuttering and dropping frames like crazy. Thanks in advance, also none of my stuff is overlooked, besides the manufacture overclock on the 970
