I have the Hypder D92 Cpu Cooler, do i use cpu_opt for power for the second fan?

Plug one into the cpu_opt or use the cable that joins the two fans (forget what this cable is called) and i plug it into the cpu_fan.

Mb is GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-Gaming 5 LGA (http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4953#ov)

I am mounting the Board in a Fractal design r4, anything i may want to know before going about that, and should i install power supply first or mb?

Use the CPU_OPT header.

And it doesn't matter what you install first. Sometimes it's easier to do the mobo first and sometimes it's the PSU.
