I know that it depends on the processor model and RAM memory, but which is more important for gaming? A high end processor like the i7 or AMD A10 processor or the RAM space? Like 6 or 8GB? (anything higher than 8GB of RAM is out of my budget)

Solution
Both of these work on a principle of "good enough." If you have enough RAM to hold your running programs (4 gb is plenty for most games) then they will run fine as far as RAM is concerned. If you do not have enough RAM then they will not run well or even at all no matter how good the rest of your system is. CPU's follow more of a graded slope, but performance is usually limited more by the GPU than CPU. Unless you are spending multiple hundreds of dollars on high end GPU's, an i5 or even i3 will work just as well as an i7 for gaming. Likewise any 3GHz or so AMD processor with 6 or more cores will perform just about the same in most games.

If you can only afford 8GB (which you should get) then you definitely should not be paying for an...

the A10 isn't high end, it's low end with a built in GPU.

The I7 is excellent for everything and whilst it's not really needed for gaming as the 4 core I5 is enough, some games are now taking advantage of 8 threads allowing the I7 to give better performance.

That said, the GPU is easily the most important. CPU's only really become important in CPU intensive gaming, there are some recently like BF4 and even crisis 3 is CPU intensive. You can only really find this out by reading benchmarks which happen to compare different CPUs, although most benchmarks are GPU limited, so don't really show any difference between CPUs unless something really low end is used (like the A10).
