I am planing to upgrade my current pc so I can have another gaming system for my gaming options.so I am not looking for any hi tech stuff that cost hundreds of dollars. all I need is a good system that plays modern gaming that I can play on without any problems and doesn't cost that much. so basically here are the 5 question i need answered before i go fully 100% on this.

1. is 8gb ram enough? since that is what I'm going to be purchasing

2.what is the best and cheapest 8gb ram stick(if it is enough) that I can purchase that will be good and where can I buy it from?

3. on canyourunit.com it says my video card is fine but i need more dedicated video ran. So does the dedicated video ram matter in gaming, and if it does is there a way to raise it without having to replace my video card?

4.where can I find a cpu chip that can play modern games for a decent price?

5. after all said and done how many years(without upgrading) of gaming do you think will i be able to get on this set up?

1, Yes - 8gb is fine for gaming

2. buy 2 x 4gb 1866 cas9 1.5v - best cost/performance. Cheap ram will be slow eg cas 10 1600

3. More VRAM is needed by more demanding games on higher resolution monitors. At least 2gb is warranted these days.

4. Depends on the game. Most games can easily be played with an i5 for $200

5. Wait till we set your parts list. The higher end the build, the longer you will be happy with it. Parts rarely get to end of life before people want to upgrade them.

i'm planning on playing stuff like far cry 4 and gta5 without having any issues and to last me to atleast around 2016 since that is the time I'm planing to fully upgrade since I'll have the 2 consoles I want by then. the main only reason I am getting a pc is for another gaming option and so don't have to carry my ps3 back and forth all the time since I'm not a gameing fanboy like everyone else, I'm planing on owning a wii u,ps4, and a gaming pc by 2016. also 200$ is steep out of my price range is here any cheaper alternatives? I don't want flashy fancy graphics, I just want to be able to play the game on a pc, and vram(I got to figure it out on my own) i need a way to raise it. if 512 mb is not enough, becaused looking inside my computer (through the screen because i can't find a small enough screwdriver) i don't see a way to take out the video card. from how it looks it looks sautered on,
