I have a year old msi ge60 laptop. A while ago The laptop completely froze out of the blue. I had to force it to shut down. When I started it again, I got stuck in a automatic repair loop where it would check my disc for errors, and restart when it didn't find anything, and check the disc for errors again.

I managed to get past this loop after a while, but when I entered windows, everything was running extremely slow. And the disc usage was at 100% at all times. I tried everything I could, but nothing helped and I decided to reset my computer (cleaning all drives and reinstall windows).

This helped a lot, in the beginning. After a couple of days, the disk usage was spiking to 100% at seemingly random times again, and the laptop was again becoming less and less usable.

The only way I could use it was to disable all non-windows services + superfetch and windows search. Even tho I still got the random 100% disk usage spikes from time to time, I could at least use the laptop. Until today, when I suddenly couldn't log in to my user anymore. When I logged in, I would get stuck on the "welcome" screen for a while. The the screen then turned black and the laptop restarted.

I decided to reset the laptop once again. But this time it didn't work at all. Now I can't even boot windows. First, i get the BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_ERROR and error code 0x0000001.
I get presented with a lot of boot options, but all of them fail. I can't even get past the "MSI" -splash screen.

Is this anything I can fix, or will I need to send my laptop to a repair shop?

Solution
First check your HDD/SSD for errors if you have a desktop PC. Take out the Lappy's HDD, make it as second HDD on PC and check for errors with makers diagnostics tool. See if it helps !
