Hello Toms.

I've received my R9 290 Tri-X OC today and I wanted to know weather my PSU can handle it for now?

CPU: AMD FX 8320 (not OC)
RAM: 2x 4gb DDR3 1333mhz
1xSSD 1xHDD
Motherboard: Asus 970fx LE
PSU: 600b evga 600watts.
H55 corsair watercooling

I have no dvd drive and nothing is connected to mobo apart from power reset switches and so on.

I will be getting another GPU in 2 weeks time as well as Sabertooth mobo will change my rams to 4x 4gb and add an extra HDD what sort of PSU should i get for those specs? Am really looking at Corsair or Evga just budget for psu around £200 but if more needed that ok then.

Thanks ib advance.

It will be dreadfully inefficient to run such a big PSU at low load levels. An EVGA G2 1000W is more than plenty for two r9 290's but it's your money, spend it as you like!

By digital I assume you mean the Corsair Link Software? Depends whether that sort of thing will interest you, the EVGA and Corsair PSU's both have class-leading voltage regulation and ripple suppression.
