SLI option not showing up in Nvidia Control Panel

So I just made a new build and wanted to SLI two 780 6gb cards. I installed all the parts using PCI-E slot 1 and 3 and connected the sli bridge. Then loaded Win 7 professional and downloaded the MB drivers from the disk. From there I let Windows update run and DL about 150 updates. Then I installed the newest Nvidia driver (344.75). Before I downloaded the drivers Windows automatically downloaded drivers and both cards show up in "Device Manager" and "HWMonitor" and then with the Nvidia driver they both show up in "Geforce Experience". So once everything was updated I went into Nvidia Control Panel to activate SLI by choosing the option "Maximize 3D Performance" but the option is not there! Is it located in a different spot? Also Nvidia Control panel shows both cards but no SLI link (it shows the 2nd card as Physx but the option is set @Auto). I've reinstalled the cards/tried different PCI-E slots/clean install of the drivers and none of it worked. I will be calling EVGA today after work but I figured i'd post this issue and see if anyone can help.
