Hi I'm hoping someone can suggest something to assist. I have a work PC I've upgraded to win7pro from win7, the pc has no cd/dvd drive, but i done the downloadable upgrade so that didn't cause any issues, the issue now is that the new version of windows is installed, but missing drivers for USB, Ethernet, Serial BUS.

I can't get onto the internet (no ethernet) to download the drivers. I can't put the drives onto a USB stick if i download the drivers elsewhere as.. yep no USB drives working.

I have tried searching through windows and the old windows to see if it would pick up drivers but no such luck.

can anyone help please.

Thank you in advance.

getting the drivers isn't the issue, i can download those from another PC, the issue is installing the drivers onto a pc with no cd/dvd and missing the drivers for USB, so i can't install from a stick, without USB Drivers which are missing. I can't download straight to the PC in question because the Ethernet drivers are missing. thanks for your suggestion tho. :??:

Any version of Windows 7 should support some baseline functionality of USB 2.0 and below without the need for drivers; it's USB 3.0 that's the problem.

I mean if you literally cannot use any USB port, the only thing I can think of is to remove the HDD and attach it to another computer and drag and drop drivers from there.
