I ordered 2 EVGA gtx 970 Superclocked ACX 2.0 , and they still have not shipped yet..

I saw gtx 970 EVGA FTW ACX 2.0 which has a higher clock speed.

Money is not an issue. Should I cancel and get the ftw?

My understanding is that FTW is the same card, just overclocked about 100mhz more from the factory, so i shouldnt be able to OC it too much.

At the end of the day, which card gives the better performance?

The one with the higher clock rates of course. Now you may be able to match those higher clock rates by overclocking your original purchases but there is no guarantee. Really though the difference may not even be noticeable if you can OC the originals even a little bit. That being said if money isnt an issue why not get the better ones?

The 970 FTW is crippled by the power target, which is identical to the SC ACX 2.0's power target. To get it to a decent clock you'll need to edit the BIOS anyway. I'd save some money and get the SC and just OC it.
