My brother recently bought a RAM upgrade for his PC, but after installing it nothing seems to work. His current ram became faulty (Ripjaws ddr3 PC3 1600 MHz 4gb x2), so he bought and installed Corsair Vengeance DDR3 4 GB x2. When he installed the new RAM and turned on his PC he said the monitor stayed black and nothing happened. I took the RAM and placed it in my PC and it seems to work just fine, so I'm wondering if his PC isn't compatible with that type of ram. He has a Dell XPS 430 with an upgraded Power supply and a 630 gtx nVidia gpu. Everything else is stock. Thanks!
