After getting my machine stable with a 4.5Ghz overcloak at a vcore voltage of 1.205v I was wondering how I could use dynamic vcore voltage so that when my system is not under load it can run at lower voltages.

I think I can push down the vcore voltage a little more but I ran into a snag and forgot the voltages that I was running 4.5Ghz at when I was trying out 4.6Ghz thought I had ruined my CPU so I was panicking a little much to keep vcore voltages in my head, anyways it was a problem with the RAM in the end and I just stuck with the vcore voltage which was close to where I had it before.

Anyways so yeah my bored is a GA-Z77-D3H, 12GB of ram <--- "thats what caused the RAM problem XMP profiles wont work with odd memory" a i5 3560k, and a GTX 760.

So yeah if anyone could tell my how I could set it up so that 1.205v could be my max vcore and it could under volt to something like 0.900v - 1.070v for idle.

If you are using an Intel Processor, download XTU or Xtreme Tuning Utility.
It automatically minimize the Vcore Voltage and maximize the performance substantially.

Hope it helped!

Good luck!

Err dw I came up with the sulution my self but its something that every over cloaking guide will tell you not to do... I used the Load line calibration and set it to medium, it got exactly the same voltages which I was using.

Like I admitted in the first post my voltages were a little high but only maybe 0.010 - 0.0020 out and with it being able to also under volt the CPU I feel a lot more comfortable using the AI over cloaking.

And It didn't work because I would have had to setup my BOIS as defeat and then used then used the tool to overcloak which it seems to have a problem even overcloaking from default to 4.3Ghz

btw should add my temps are maxing out at 62C and room temp should be around 18 so the delta is 44C + or - 2C for error margins

Ah after I went into the BOIS again it looked like there was a maximum over voltage option set it to 0.150v which is the lowest setting... really wish they would bring that down to 50.

It was called protected vcore voltage... or something like that... Sorry for even making the post I should have just kept at it.

Well, for me XTU with Custom Setting overclocked mine up to (Mind you, I OCed it down little bit later) 4.75Ghz Stable. Oh well, good thing you figured it out yourself. Good luck!
