Hi I am thinking about buying the lightning version of the 290x, I was originally thinking about getting the gigabyte version but after looking at the price I found the looks and performance and just how quite it is to suite my needs better. The only downside is my power supply only has 2 power connectors but it is an xfx TS with the right amps on the 12v rail. I do plan on buying the xfx 850w later on so I can overclock the crap out of my cpu and gpu, but my question right now is does it only require the 2 power connectors? I thought the 3rd connector was aimed more towards the lm2 mode for overclocking.
