is FX-6300(4.5ghz) enough to run GTX 760 with no bottleneck?
in games such as
BF4,
AC4,
Far Cry 4,
and other similar games...
If it does bottleneck what games would it probably bottleneck?

Yup. I can say for certain, because it's what's currently in my system. Plays games flawlessly. The only thing I can't max is Arma 3. You might need to lower the settings on Far Cry 4, though... that game looks pretty demanding. I haven't played it yet, so I can't tell you how that combo will perform on it. All the others though, you should be able to max, especially BF4.

So your saying that most games will not bottleneck?
i want my cpu to run my gpu at max in most games

Yep. Most won't. I think the 6300 is a bit underestimated-- it's not quite as powerful as most i5s but it definitely gets the job done. I have to ask, out of curiosity-- are you manually overclocking your 6300? The stock clock is 3.5ghz, and you have 4.5 listed.

I'm surprised at the FPS counter on FC4 in that video. I guess I'm underestimating my own hardware.

I have never overclocked before and everyone says i can overclock it to 4.5
what do you mean by manually? you mean not the turbo clock?

I was wondering if you were using software to manually set the clock speed. The default turbo clock is 4.1, so I was just wondering. But yeah, you can push the 6300 pretty far easily.
