One of my friends happens to have this card and would like to send it to me when he upgrades in the future. i am wondering if the uefi bios flash that has been done will work with legacy bios boards. i read around that it may or may not i don't know for sure. the bios it has been flashed to is 80.04.31.00.40 (P2004-0005). does anyone know more or has worked with the card.

Dont even worry about that - its not relevant, that is talking about motherboards working with the OS. The main thing is that you have a pci-e slot on your motherboard and all will be fine. Make sure you have a good enough power supply as well

what i am talking bout is the bios on the card or the firmware on the card i have read that most new cards only work with uefi based motherboards and not legacy bios motherboards and i wonder if this card will work with a legacy bios motherboard since it was flashed from the legacy firmware/bios to the uefi bios/firmware i know also that some newer cards have the legacy/uefi bios switch to switch between uefi and legacy depending on what the motherboard is using
